§ 4.03.020. Violations.

  • (a)

    Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of the Fire Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and each such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of the Fire Code is committed, continued or permitted, and upon conviction of any such violation such person shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

    (b)

    Every violation determined to be an infraction hereunder is punishable in such manner and to such extent as is provided by Section 1.08.010 of this Code.

    (c)

    For the purposes of this section, a forfeiture of bail shall be equivalent to a conviction.
