§ 2.08.050. Notice inviting informal bids.

With respect to public projects let to contract by informal procedures, unless the product or service is proprietary, the City Manager shall mail a notice inviting informal bids to either:
(1)

All contractors on the list for the category of work being bid;

(2)

All construction trade journals specified by the Commission pursuant to Public Contracts Code § 22036; or

(3)

All contractors on the list for the category of work being bid and all construction trade journals specified by the Commission pursuant to Public Contracts Code § 22036.

All mailing of notices pursuant to this section shall be completed not less than ten calendar days before bids are due.
